I started playing lacrosse my sophomore year of high school on a whim because one of my friends played. I was on JV my first year but as a swing player, I picked up the sport rather quickly. The following year I made varsity as a starting defender in every game that year and we made it to the regional playoffs. The following year my senior year, I was a starting defender as well and we had made it to the semi final game. I was awarded First Team and All Conference both years on varsity, the NFL player of the year award, as well as an All American title. I was privileged with a scholarship to further my lacrosse in collage at Saint Leo University where I studied and played for 3 years as a defender. I was a defensive captain as a freshmen as well as a junior captain my final year on the field.
